ABOUT THE JOB:
Position Summary:
Securian Financial is seeking a SAP Ariba Procurement and Supplier Management consultant to own the technical support of Financial and accounting platforms. Running a best-in-class technology portfolio, this role plays an integral part in shaping the firm’s processes, standards, best practices, and strategies. The right candidate will have strong functional, analytical, and business process skills, be able to maintain positive relationships with business and vendor stakeholders and be responsible for efficient issue resolution and escalation to maintain investment platform functionality.
This role is part of a fast-paced agile team relied upon for delivering technology solutions for Securian Financials’ investment management areas.
Must Have:
- Certified in SAP Ariba Procurement
- Certified in SAP Ariba Supplier Management.
Nice To Have:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management.
- Any additional SAP certifications.
Requirements:
- SAP Ariba Procurement and Supplier Management Consultant
- Well verse in S4HANA, SAP Ariba functional knowledge and procurement business processes.
- Self-motivated and independent with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for work.
- Strong technical aptitude, with proven experience with technical help desk and software support activities preferred.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to define and understand business needs and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with experience working both independently, and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information and facilitate understanding of system capabilities and limitations to non-technical users. Prior experience within the Finance industry is preferred, but not required.
