Are you looking for a new opportunity? Coloplast welcomes you to join the Operations team on 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am, training would be on either 1st or 2nd shift for 30-60 days) as a machine operator in North Mankato, MN. You will operate production equipment to produce wound and skin care products while maintaining compliance to GMPs and ISO standards. You'll be assisting in packaging and filling of products to ensure readiness for customer satisfaction. Position pays for proven machine operator experience. As a full-time Coloplast employee, you're eligible for our standard benefit package.

Job Function Summary

  • Clean and sanitize all mixing equipment and complete necessary paper work and inspections per cGMP requirements to fulfill customer expectations.
  • This position controls variable costs by cleaning all Coloplast products within the guidelines prescribed in the GMP's.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Clean all equipment used in the process of Manufacturing and Packaging productions per the guidelines prescribed in the GMP's.
  • Complete cleaning and sanitization documentation as required by Coloplast procedures.
  • Access workplace information such as the cleaning schedule to identify cleaning requirements.
  • Assist in manufacturing and packaging all Coloplast products within the guidelines prescribed in the GMP's, FDA and ISO Standards including the filling out of all necessary documents to ensure compliance-such as cleaning logs
  • General good housekeeping practices of compounding areas, making sure area is cleaned up after a manufacturing batch and tools put in proper place
  • Find fill-in work during any delay to assure continuation of operations to meet departmental goals.
  • Adhere to fire, safety and security measures already established.
  • Ensure that the working environment is neat and orderly
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, plans and interdepartmental relationships
  • Setup of skin care to prepare materials for production line
  • An ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff.
  • Must lead by example and demonstrate professionalism
  • Having job skills to learn company policies and procedures to complete tasks.
  • Able to prepare and set up workstations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow up on previous work
  • Must work well independently and be adaptable/flexible
  • Ability to organize efficiently and effectively

  • Perform related duties as requested.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Able to lift minimum 25 pounds on a regular basis
  • Able to lift 50 pounds periodically
  • Able to stand, kneel, or squat for extended periods of time
  • Able to climb ladders, work at elevated heights
  • Able to push/pull over 50 pounds
  • Able to reach above shoulder level
  • Able to operate power/hand tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • ERP experience (Enterprise One preferred)
