JOB SUMMARY
The Sanitation worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the raw and cook production areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with USDA and Company SOP's guidelines.
- Perform assigned tasks and follow instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead personnel.
- Remove all production debris, clean and sanitize all equipment.
- Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed.
- Hand scrub equipment as required.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled hours which may include mandatory overtime, depending upon production demands.
- Continuous standing in one location for extended periods of time (up to 2-3 hours before break).
- Working in cold environments 20-45 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Wearing, using, and maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Being able to understand and follow oral and written instructions from Sanitation Manager.
- Can problem solve, manage time pressures calmly and be approachable.
- Possess a relationship of respect and trust between themselves as well as their co-workers.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Work safely and set an example of safe working habits.
- Ability and willingness to perform repetitive reaching, bending, and scrubbing to sanitize, assigned area(s).
- Ability to push lift, push and pull up to 75lbs.
- Ability to use concentrated cleaning solutions.
- Work the scheduled times and occasional overtime as well maintain good attendance.
