Responsibilities
- Responsible, with minimal assistance, for the overall cleaning, sanitizing and disinfection of the plant operational areas and equipment to the standard Mountain Valley requires. (Training list 1-3)
- Properly communicate with all other departments to allow completion of sanitation tasks and completing tasks in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for sanitation preparation including setting up carts, cleaning units, etc., in preparation for upcoming tasks
- Responsible for proper dilution of sanitation cleaning chemicals, maintaining records of chemical concentration checks and documenting all sanitation tasks completed.
- Responsible for ensuring all chemical agents used are properly stored upon completion and ensuring maintenance and upkeep of all sanitation chemical storage and items.
- Responsible for maintaining and properly using sanitation tools and supplies and communicating when new tools and supplies are needed in advance of the need.
- Must pay close attention to surroundings when utilizing high pressure tools and all chemicals.
- Must report and record any issues noted to the Sanitation Lead so they may be addressed.
- Must support staff during Clean in Place (CIP) procedures for production line areas and equipment.
- Communicate with Quality and Operations Managers, Supervisors, and crew leads to resolve issues.
- Responsible for assisting with new hire training and cross trainings.
- Willing to serve as needed as back up to quality and operations as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds minimum.
- Copious walking, stretching, bending and standing required.
- Must be a self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
