Sanitation Technician

Sanitation Technician - $21.05/hour

Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7:00 am, possibility for overtime!

A local company in the Cherokee area is hiring an Industrial Sanitation Worker to join their expanding team! As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and facilities are properly sanitized according to the sanitation schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Mix sanitation chemicals according to recipe.
• Spray, soap, scrub and rinse all equipment and supplies used in production.
• Ensure equipment is properly sanitized for QA inspections.
• Sanitize other areas of the plant on a weekly, monthly, and semi-annual basis.
• Other sanitation duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of previous sanitation experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on own and 70 lbs. as a team.
• Ability to work in cooler temperatures, around 38 degrees.
• Ability to push, pull, bend and stoop frequently.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and walk up to 2 miles each shift.
