- Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30am; occasional weekends required. More details upon interview.

Job Role
Perform daily tasks associated with Supervising Sanitation Team for MG Foods. Enforce policies and procedures to meet federal and state requirements. Work effectively with the operation team to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met. Direct and lead daily tasks for Sanitation technicians.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and delegate tasks to the sanitation team and ensure that activities are done on time, properly, and in a safe manner.
- Ensure that essential sanitation procedures and projects are aligned with production objectives and schedules.
- Comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company policies relating to sanitation.
- Promote safe and effective sanitation procedures.
- Serve as the point of contact between management, supervisors, and sanitation techs as it pertains to task delegation.
- Communicate facility and employee concerns as they arise.
- Perform work safely and within a specific period to ensure the facility is clean and in good working conditions.
- Communicate deviations, repairs, or concerns to supervisors to ensure the facility is in operable conditions.
- Monitor use of chemicals and tools relating to cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
- Ensure compliance with government food safety regulations and maintain the highest possible industry standards.
- Actively participate, and lead employee training sessions.
- Lead by example, by following Safety procedures, training employees to do the same.
- Follow all Food Safety procedures, including HACCP & SQF policies. Teach the team to do the same.
- Provides training, develops, manages, and retains employees.
- Organizes workflow and ensures that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Interacts with all department Directors, Managers, and Supervisors, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must consistently demonstrate professional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Maintain composure when handling unexpected challenges and competing demands.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules and extended hours as needed, including nights and weekends.
- Bilingual, English & Spanish is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of Sanitation leadership role in a Food processing environment.
- Strong Knowledge of chemical safety and food sanitation procedures USDA Food Industry Experience.
- Ability to read and understand Excel based spreadsheets.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a cold environment (35-50 degrees) for prolonged periods of time with
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment including inspections in coolers and freezers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
