Sanitation Porter - Day Shift

Lyons Magnus, LLC is seeking a skilled Sanitation Porter for its Beloit Facility. This 8-hour Day Shift position will involve executing the tasks on the master sanitation schedule. This position requires efficient and effective communication, collaboration with operations, maintenance, and internal management. This position will be a Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm schedule, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Job Duties

• Performs cleaning per Master Sanitation Schedule to include but not limit to, common area cleaning, restroom cleaning, Administration office cleaning and etc.
• Performs plant cleaning as outlined by the Master Sanitation Schedule. May assist in maintaining general housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
• Handling and use of chemicals including acids, chlorine, caustics, quats and general-purpose cleaners.
• Testing and recording of temperature of hand washing sinks.
• Garbage removal for any areas assigned in the facility and administrative offices.
• Performs regular inspections and maintenance of soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers.
• Comply with appropriate safety procedures. Maintains and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Knowledge of HACCP and allergens.
• Establish positive working relationships with Lyons’ management and senior support personnel.
• Will perform other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

• High safety standards and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Must have flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime and weekends

Education/Experience

• High school or equivalent
• 1+years' experience in a related field, preferred
