We are hiring immediately for a Sanitation Lead on our Sanitation Team at our Caseyville Prepared Foods plant.
We are currently in the process of expanding our operations in Caseyville with a $181 million dollar investment to add 7 new state of the art production lines to our current 4 production lines.
With automated warehousing and robotics at the heart of this expansion, the facility will be a Flagship of the Prepared Foods division. The facility currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products, and the expansion will further develop our capabilities.

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety quality and productivity. Other duties include: manage all company safety rules regulations and documentation; insure that team is in full compliance and training is up to date and documented; produce all product following production and packaging parameters to insure that quality requirements are maintained and documented; operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards; manage all GMPs training supervising and documenting the team’s performance; clean all equipment in accordance with the SOPs; maintain control of all equipment and tools; follow company policies procedures written or verbal; other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 6+ months sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment; mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of protein-based snack making handling and packaging equipment; familiar with SOP’s.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Special Skills: Ability to supervise, manage, build, and lead a team; ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation; and back up supervising experience required. Must be willing and able to be lockout tagout, fall protection, and scissor lift trained.
- Physical Requirement: Requires 100 percent flexibility of wrists and hands; walking, bending, standing, and some lifting required; ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion; lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; ability to move heavy objects 100 lbs. with mechanical device.
