Sanitation Crew Leader - 3Rd Shift

Position: Sanitation Crew Leader
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 9:00pm - shift end (hours may vary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Pre-Op Inspection and completion of appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Assist in Pre-Op Inspection with USDA and ensure the timely correction of all, if any, deficiencies.
• Ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of production equipment and adjacent areas, in addition to other environments, following approved sanitary methods.
• Will assist in filling portable chemical totes for crew.
• Responsible for the safe use of appropriate chemical solutions to ensure the cleanest and most highly sanitized equipment.
• Ensure that all necessary safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities (i.e. wearing proper personal protective equipment, not mixing incompatible chemicals, etc.)
• Responsible for following through on projects assigned.

Required Qualifications/ Education/ Skills

• Ability to understand the operation of various pieces of production equipment mechanically and regarding the power source.
• Ability to be flexible with the variety of work responsibilities available.

• Extensive standing and walking
• Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Repetitive motion (hands/ wrists)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/ pulling equipment of varies weights

Job Environment

• Wet environment (full wash down production area).
