Sanitation Clerk

The Murfreesboro TN bakery is interested in qualified candidates to fill the Sanitation Clerk role, who will be responsible for the Sanitation administrative needs and is commitment to the successful implementation of BRC, FDA and Food Safety processes.

Responsibilities:

• Filing, updating, and maintaining records to accepted BRC standards.
• Ordering of Sanitation, Receiving and Production supplies.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies.
• Reviewing and properly coding invoices prior to submission for payment.
• Receiving UPS deliveries and distributing to the proper departments.
• Produce production reports as needed
• Assign lockers and access keys
• Assist with monthly training
• Inform supervision of any short supply situations that may develop.

• Must be capable of exerting up to 5-20 pounds of force.
• Must be capable of moving up and down stairways and ladders to perform some job assignments.
• Other physical requirements consist of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, bending, twisting, talking and hearing.
• Must be able to read, write and speak as well as perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace.
• Maintain a high state of safety awareness: keep hands out of moving machinery, lift properly, and be alert to movement of materials or other people to give right of way as needed.

• Must have computer knowledge skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and in-house programs.
• Must be capable of understanding and completing oral and written instructions as given by supervision in both the Sanitation and Production departments.
• Must be well organized and communicate effectively with other employees.
• Time Management skills required to allocate workload and hours between departments in order to satisfy job responsibilities.
• Independent judgment is occasionally required.
