Title: Sample Coordinator – Billabong Men’s

Department: Men’s M&D

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Coordination and assistance of all related functions within the Merchandising and Design department primarily focused, but not limited to samples (ordering, systems, tracking, and organizing), support with day-to-day merchandise tools and systems, catalog development, interdepartmental and international communication for samples, all photo-shoot duties, and meeting preparation.

Samples:

• Responsible for logistics of all North America samples.
• Build and maintain global seasonal sample buy plan; distribute to global business partners and vendors.
• Responsible for writing sample purchase orders to vendors.
• Keep all sampling information updated in PLM and Full Circle.

• Weekly checking & updating of PLM sample tracking reports.
• Responsible for on-time delivery of samples from vendors to sample warehouse.

• Communicate with vendors on sample status; relaying progress/updates to merchandising & product teams.
• Manage samples coordination with cross-functional teams: sales management, reps, ecommerce, marketing, and catalog.
• Support sample integration tasks in PLM and FC.
• Responsible for organizing NA & global samples in preparation for key milestone meetings.
• Manage rep memo & communication. Compile all information and send out to sales force.

Catalog:

• Communicate updates, changes, and progress to the catalog team.
• Assist in coordination and logistics of photo shoot planning.

Photo Shoots:

• Point-person for all activities, duties, preparation, and logistics with photo shoots.
• Manage samples and setup of product shoots for catalog and ecommerce.
• Manage samples and assist with lifestyle photo shoots.

Additional Duties:

• Support managing assortment accuracy tasks in PLM.
• Assist where needed across the Merchandising and Design department.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• A Merchandising or Design Bachelor’s degree is preferred and appreciated; Or one-year relative work experience.
• Intermediate ability with Mac OS.
• Advanced ability with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Beginner – Intermediate ability with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• This position requires full time hours from our Costa Mesa location.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $21.64 - $24.04. This position is Hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
