Sample Coordinator - Marketing Operations Sample Room
The Sample Coordinator should be passionate about the goals of JCPenney's Creative Services. Seeking an engaging and a team person, forward thinking with instinctive problem-solving abilities, open to helping others when challenges arise within the team. Sample Coordinator team members need to have flexibility in working hours due to event scheduling.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Receives and inspects each sample received from JCP suppliers to ensure accurate tagging.
• Organizes and hangs incoming samples based on Sample Room SOP per division.
• Correct all sample tagging issues coming from JCP suppliers.
• Notifies responsible IBO's of received sample tagging issues.
• Coordinated sample purging with Division Merchandise Assistants and Marketing Managers to ensure the on-time purging of samples.
• Assists Sample Specialist by picking requested samples for photography.

• Strong communication skills; ability to establish and maintain relationships with all teams.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and project manage under tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong visualization skills.
• Self-disciplined.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to use available resources to solve issues.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of Workhorse (internal sample tracking system) a plus.
• Must be able to learn new technology, including new/updated software and hardware.
