SameDay/ODL Expediter

Essential Functions

1. Generate, print, and bag daily cellular production plans.
2. Facilitate the SameDay/ODL process by initiating and following critical customer orders from production to shipping and provide Customer Service with accurate updates.
3. Process and close completed work orders on an hourly basis.
4. Run and communicate the daily work order closure report at the end of each day.
5. Update and communicate the daily plan with the work order completions at the end of each day.
6. Maintain work order cleanup reports on a weekly basis.
7. Setup and maintain supplier information as needed.
8. Suggest and implement improvements in workflow, customer delivery and other aspects of production control.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand. The primary schedule will be 9am to 6:30pm.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day. Some out-of-area travel may be expected.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or (GED) and one year related experience and training. Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office.
