Salon Coordinator

Balance - the Salon is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional person to be our Salon Coordinator/receptionist. Customer service, communication and hospitality are your primary responsibilities. You help the work flow smoothly each day. This position also helps with weekly purchasing of products and supplies. You are the first and last contact in every salon experience.

Communication

• scheduling appointments with computer
• confirming appointments
• handling point of sale transactions
• handling multiple phone lines
• communicating schedule changes (updates) between stylists and clients

Hospitality

• greeting clients and checking them into the computer
• help clients with coats, drinks or directions (where is the bathroom, where can I change, etc.)
• assisting with keeping the reception area tidy

Requirements

• need to be comfortable with people, phones and computers
• need strong customer service and communication skills
• be flexible and focused on finding solutions
• 8 hour days Tuesday through Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
