Salon Assistant Manager
Who We Are Looking For
High-profile leadership position responsible for the salon operational success and overall salon growth. Salon Assistant Manager will ensure the salon meets or exceeds financial goals, while providing remarkable leadership in customer service, team member relations and sales. Person holding this position works hand in hand with the salon manager and owner to provide daily support to their team and offer ongoing leadership, motivation, and development. The Salon Assistant Manager also acts as the salon ambassador to provide each guest a remarkable experience and is responsible for welcoming each client.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Managing the daily operations of the salon, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision and customer intake procedures.
- Cultivate and facilitate product knowledge training program for staff.
- Implement and manage employee schedules as well as other clerical tasks.
- Assist in overseeing guest/customer appointment scheduling to ensure they are taken care of efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in handling customer complaints as well as provide solutions to employee conflicts.
- Manage inventory of all salon products which includes but not limited to ordering, inventory counts and shrink management.
- Assist in maintaining a remarkable customer experience for in-person interactions, calls, online web and social media interactions.
- Assist our marketing team with online and in-salon marketing programs.
- Assist in Customer Service & salon related duties.
Required Skills
2+ years directly managing a team of 3 or more
2+ years or more in Front Desk Sales role, preferably in Salon/Spa or Membership focused businesses.
Reliable transportation
Excellent customer service skills and computer skills
Online Software experience
Social Media Experience
