We are looking for a Salon Assistant to help run our salon and coordinate day-to-day activities. Salon Assistant responsibilities include shampooing, color application, scheduling appointments, checking out clients, and daily cleaning duties. To be successful in this role, you should be a people person that’s passionate about the beauty industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day salon operations run smoothly
- Chat with customers, learn their preferences and build good relationships
- Monitor stock of beauty products and order supplies as needed
Skills
- Work experience as a Salon Assistant or similar role in the beauty industry would be great but not required
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Solid organizational skills
- Additional certification in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy or relevant field is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
