Eagle Metalcraft located in Syracuse, NY is currently crecruiting for a Sales/Quoting Manager to join their team.
Salary: $60,000 plus a very good commission plan
The Sales/Quoting Manager is responsible for maintaining a book of business, prospecting and qualifying new business, maintaining, strengthening and growing existing accounts to achieve consistent, high-level growth and profitability. Take ownership of assigned base customers and new prospects and collaborate with the president to set goals, execute customer development strategies that will fit and qualify within the strategic and niche goals of the company. This individual will also work very closely with manufacturing to help build competitive quotes and to see new projects all the way through the manufacturing system.
- Cold calls and follow up on Leads, Prospects and Pre-qualify to ensure it’s the right work for the company.
- Cultivating long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the work is progressing as scheduled.
- Report to the President of any issues that could or will affect the customer relationship.
- Attend sales meetings as required.
- Must be willing to travel as needed
- Track all communications, customer touches and Pipeline activities in the companies CRM.
- Track all new projects from start to finish and manage any delays in the process.

- Minimum of 3 years technical sales in Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication and or Machining
- Computer and Technological literacy Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- CRM documentation experience ZOHO a Plus
- You have great follow up and time management skills
- Excellent Client –facing and communication skills with senior management in large corporations
- Detail orientated with great multitasking skills
- Candidates must be willing to travel and have knowledge of fabrication and machining.
- You have a Hunter Mentality with a strong work ethic, drive and ambition to succeed
- The position requires reading and understanding both written and verbal instructions along with the ability to read and understand blue prints as required.
