The Project Consultant at Burke Home Services is responsible for completing in-home sales consultations for energy efficient home improvements, basement and crawlspace waterproofing, as well as window replacement projects. You will be responsible for providing estimates and creating detailed proposals for customers while working closely with our production team to ensure great results and excellent customer service.
Project Consultants will be required to close sales by obtaining signed proposal and deposits on projects. Follow up on any unsold sales calls. Generate additional leads for future business. Communicate project and customer requirements to production staff. Identify and solve problems that might impede the completion of work within budgeted time. Frequent weekends and evening appointments will be required in order to accommodate the customer's needs.
To ensure the success of our Project Consultant, Burke Home Services provides paid training, a company car, company branded apparel, a laptop or tablet, an expense account, as well as a complete benefits package. We provide a competitive base salary along with a clear path to substantial supplemental income through monthly bonuses and commissions.
Requirements are as follows:
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to use a laptop computer to present solutions, close sales and produce proposals
- 3-5 years of residential construction industry project estimating or “in-home” sales experience preferred.
- A background in Energy Efficient home improvements is a big advantage!

Pay: $45,500.00 - $150,000.00 per year
