We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the transportation industry. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, promoting our transportation services, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sales, a deep understanding of the transportation sector, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential clients in need of transportation services.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct research to understand client needs and provide tailored transportation solutions.
- Present and demonstrate company services to prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close sales deals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market changes.
Requirements:
- at least 1 year of proven sales experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Deep understanding of transportation services, supply chain management, and logistics.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of successful sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
