Position Summary
A Day in the Life
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Review requirement documents and development approaches drafted by the Solution Architect to ensure alignment with client needs and project goals.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on Salesforce development best practices, architecture, and design considerations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, development guides, and training materials.
- Conduct client-facing technical training sessions to educate clients on Salesforce development concepts, tools, and methodologies.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering recommendations and solutions to optimize their Salesforce implementation.
- Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve our services and solutions.
We are looking for someone who brings
- 2+ years of Salesforce configuration and development experience
- Certified Salesforce Consultant or App Builder
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior Salesforce Consulting experience
- Proficiency in a variety of Salesforce features including, but not limited to:
- Creating custom objects and fields
- Flows
- Advanced Formulas
- Validation Rules
- SOQL
- Profile, Permissions and OWD
- Ability to collaborate, validate and assist prioritizing requirements for projects and request
- Capable of meeting deadlines and focuses on results and value creation
- Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Health Cloud, and AppExchange solutions is a plus
- Certified Developer or App Builder
- Development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and JavaScript
- Object-oriented programming and experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Heroku/AWS
- Experience working with associations or non-profit organizations and AMS or CRM platforms a plus
- Experience working with Nimble AMS and/or Fonteva Salesforce application platforms a plus
- Familiarity working with Salesforce experience sites
