Salesforce Release Master

Job Title: Salesforce Release Master
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid Role)
Duration: Long term
Rate: BOE

Key Responsibilities:

1. Release Planning:

   • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities.
   • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and QA teams to plan and schedule releases.

2. Release Coordination:

   • Lead release planning meetings and coordinate activities across different teams.
   • Ensure that all components of the Salesforce release are properly tested and validated.

3. Change Management:

   • Implement and enforce Salesforce release management best practices.
   • Collaborate with the change advisory board to review and approve release plans.

4. Environment Management:

   • Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox and production instances.
   • Coordinate the deployment of configuration changes, Apex code, and integrations.

5. Documentation:

   • Maintain detailed release documentation, including release notes and deployment guides.
   • Communicate release status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

6. Continuous Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the release management lifecycle.
   • Stay current with Salesforce best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in Salesforce release management, with a deep understanding of the platform.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
