POSITION SUMMARY
USG is seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our Salesforce platform and manage the Salesforce team to support our business processes. Within this role, applying best-practices and fostering common standards, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of our Salesforce platform to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maximize value for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT, to ensure that Salesforce is aligned with our business objectives and drives positive customer experiences. Minimal travel may be required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership: Manage business Salesforce team, responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and development of department personnel.
  • Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a strategic roadmap for Salesforce enhancements, ensuring it aligns with business priorities and delivers maximum value across all segment functions.
  • Process Enhancement: Leverage your deep understanding of Salesforce technology and best practices to enhance every step of the organizational utilization of the Salesforce platform. Recommends, designs, and adopts new standards, policies, and processes to improve department effectiveness and overall customer experience.
  • Product Ownership: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business requirements, translating them into user stories, and prioritizing them within the product backlog. Drive delivery of Salesforce projects by exercising diligent planning, attention to detail, communication, and efficient decision making.
  • Data Integrity: Oversee data integrity and data management within Salesforce, working to ensure accurate and reliable data for reporting and analytics.
  • Vendor & Technology Management: Manage relationships with Salesforce vendors and stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in technical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.

Required Skills
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Product Owner or a similar role in a manufacturing or related industry. Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Product Owner certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team and executing complex transactions.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to identify key gaps in process, investigate themes or issues, and strategically recommend solutions to problems with often limited information.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools. Established time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to influence and manage across indirect reporting lines and to implement and manage change throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated presentation, training, and knowledge transfer skills. Able to effectively communicate between various departments and levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work with sensitive/confidential information. Demonstrated high level of integrity and ethics.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the Manufacturing/Construction industry.
  • Experience with Oracle CRM solutions.
  • Exposure to several layers of technology solutions: application administration, application development, support, etc.
  • Experience implementing solutions by mapping customer's business processes to Salesforce.com features like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Communities.
  • Knowledge of implementing end-to-end Salesforce solutions.
  • Prior consulting experience.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
