Job Description:
This role is located either in Bentonville, AR or Franklin, TN, and Is responsible for leading sales associates to drive a strategy that the team can operate against and execute with the customer.It requires focus on the development of their associates on an ongoing basis which includes, but is not limited to, quarterly development conversations, succession planning and development planning.It requires the ability to travel to as needed for the customer merchant team.
What are we looking for?
- The purpose of this role is to set strategic direction and to lead a Sales Team to achieve all assigned scorecard targets for the business- GSV, NSV, Share, Customer P&L, Retailer and Mars KPIs.
- This role manages a team of 5 associates, combination of account managers and sales business analysts.
- This role is responsible for managing the relationship with the customer merchant teams, and engaging MPC internal stakeholders as subject matter expert, driving thought leadership and strategy.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop robust development and objective plans, drive engagement and ensure team is clear on priorities and objectives across the business.
- Set strategic vision and manage the Sales Team to deliver established goals and priorities.
- Lead the team in development and communication of sales initiatives and related action plans that deliver account objectives – including: trade/customer P&L management, promotional activity and effectiveness, customer management and negotiation, and internal positioning
- Act as the sales key liaison to both the merchant teams, as well as internal sales stakeholders in MPC.
- Lead the team to create and deliver best practice presentations which not only attain customer objectives, but provide future opportunities as well.
- Lead cross functional collaboration within MPC and at customers to guide best in class collaboration across supply chain, customer service, category management, and marketing
