Job Description
- Under the general guidance of the Sales Administration Manager, responsible for order processing, coordination of requirements, status updates, and other support activities needed to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
- One of the primary functions of this position is to act as the liaison between external customers and internal departments including Manufacturing, Business Development, Export, Finance, and Legal.
- Pre-Sales
- The Sales Support Representative will provide pricing, lead times, part numbers, and other product/ordering information as required.
- Direct sales lead to appropriate Business Development or technical contacts.
- Order Processing
- Review customer orders, confirm accuracy, identify issues to be addressed, and acknowledge receipt.
- Collection of supporting order documentation and information.
- SAP data entry
- Order Fulfillment
- Monitor order progress, identify delivery obstacles, and coordinate resolutions.
- The Sales Support Representative will provide status updates to the customer.
- Process change orders and communicate requirements with affected parties.
- General Support
- The Sales Support Representative will generate and distribute reports as required.
- Assist with non-standard customer requests.
- Coordinate line of business-specific special programs and offers.
- Gather product forecast information.

- Must be able to keyboard, use a computer, and/or view a computer monitor for extended periods of time
Education, Experience & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS or higher in business preferred
- Minimum 2 years of related customer service experience required
- Experience in high-tech Sales Support and/or manufacturing preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Office
