Sales Support Description
Our client in the textile manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support personnel to join their in-office team in New York, NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Executive Sales Manager, contributing to the efficiency and success of the sales team. Your responsibilities will include data entry, note-taking, order management, and providing essential Sales Support. At least 2 years of experience in an account support role is required. Ideal candidates will be familiar with PLM (product lifecycle management systems) and comfortable working in Excel. Beyond that, our client seeks a diligent, organized, collaborative individual who wants to stay long-term. Sales Support Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Sales Manager, supporting multiple accounts
• Create and fill out order forms in PLM system
• Assist with note taking during sales meetings and follow ups
• Ship order samples to buyers
• Coordinate with the Product Development team on buyer feedback
• Assist with the order life cycle process
• Manage PLM software and customer portals efficiently
• Review purchase orders for accuracy in dates, units, and prices
• Track orders for all accounts using Excel master sheets
• Maintain internal and external communications
Sales Support Qualifications
• 2+ years of account support experience required
• Experience in a Sales Support role or strong desire to be in one required
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Ability to work in the office is required
