SalaryAbout the Role: We are looking for a Sales Support Associate to join the Elixir® Strings Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing inside Sales Support for products that are the highest quality and value in their class, energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships and be technology savvy – with the ability to understand customer ordering behaviors and work with team to utilize automated solutions for their future ordering needs.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.
- Proactively engage and partner with the Field Sales Organization to enable sales and the selling process in order to meet customer needs; as well as with cross-functional members of the Account and product teams (i.e. inside sales, field sales, planners, finance, quality, logistics, marketing, procurement, and product specialists)
- Provide an excellent customer experience and develop strong working relationships with both internal and external customers; including Global interactions
- Perform an extensive array of Sales support tasks and activities (customer support, emails, phone coverage, assist & support Accounts Receivable, etc.)
- Generate, proofread, and distribute correspondence to internal and external customers following established guidelines
- Proactively identify solutions to non-standard requests and participating in process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate and clearly communicate complex information between diverse, global individuals or teams
- Utilize resources effectively and efficiently
- Perform duties accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service, professionalism and attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies
- Support other Sales Support related activities, processes or capabilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a customer facing role
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite as well as other data management systems
- Self-directed and motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent phone skills and business professionalism
- Ability to quickly adopt and implement new tools, process or technology to improve work efficiency
- Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and problem-solve
- Ability to develop strong working relationships
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with SalesForce.com, E1, and/or SAP
- Experience with eCommerce initiatives
Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
