Sales Coordinator - First Shift - TastePoint South, PA

We are currently looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our sales team in South PA. You will provide critical support to the Account Manager, assist managing customer relations and data integrity, including, but not limited to IFFMan, SAP, and Salesforce. You will act as a liaison between customers and all IFF areas and functions, facilitating delivery of requirements as stated on customer briefs and resolve issues that arise.

- Collaborating with the Account Manager to enter customer briefs and related tasks into internal systems
- Ensuring proper linkage between brief to win and order fulfillment process
- Collaborating with the Account Manager to maintain accurate project customer and pricing information in IFFMan and communicate changes as needed
- Troubleshooting and removing potential roadblocks independently
- Handling various internal and external inquiries for the Account Manager independently
- Facilitating, expediting, and tracking samples/documents/creative tasks
- Ensuring timely communication with internal and external customers
- Keeping the Account Manager informed of potential disruptions relevant to the brief to win process
- Running non-standard reports and maintaining spreadsheets as required
- Attending customer visits, lab tastings and participating in meetings and presentations with the Account Manager, when time allows
- Understanding basic process characteristics of other IFF/TastePoint functional areas including: Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, Creative Lab, Consumer Insights, Customer Service, GRA, etc. Participating in training programs, as required.
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
- High-School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-3 years' experience in flavor manufacturing environment preferred
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to adapt to new software systems
- Proactive, tenacious, customer focused and results oriented
- Excellent decision making abilities
*Occasional travel required - approximately 5%
