Summary
Catalyst Communications Network is actively seeking a dedicated and results-driven full-time Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assume a leadership role in managing client relationships, driving strategic advertising sales, and enhancing the visibility of our diverse portfolio. The role involves a delicate balance of maintaining and cultivating customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, actively pitching and securing new business, and efficiently managing ad sales and production deadlines. In addition, our ideal candidate is ambitious when it comes to new business development and prospecting, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn to generate leads. The Sales Specialist will also play a key role in supporting public relations efforts and is expected to make an impact at mandatory networking events and trade shows. Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs and providing customized solutions.
- Implement cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue by promoting advertising opportunities across various publications and platforms. Identify upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and make data-driven recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, coupled with the capacity to communicate articulately and confidently with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and prospects, driving revenue growth through adept ad sales strategies.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt accordingly, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Possess an amicable and extroverted demeanor.
- Exemplary organizational aptitude and the capability to concurrently manage multiple projects, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, production, and editorial to ensure cohesive client experiences.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools to track and manage client interactions and sales pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a remote team, thriving in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
