Sales Representative

Sales Development Representative (SDR) - We are hiring for Eastern & Western Coast

Job Objective: The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will find and qualify potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our Business Development Managers up for success. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Utilize SalesForce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, automated sequence software, and other tools to identify and prioritize prospects
• Connect with prospects via phone, e-mail, and social media to build relationships and identify opportunities
• Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Business Development Managers
• Manage multiple territories and time zones
• Accountable to sales manager for weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of work and training experience considered

• 2-3 years of sales development experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets

• Life sciences industry experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proven creative problem-solving approach, research skills, and strong analytical skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible and consistent in prospecting efforts

• Proactive and go-getter attitude to exceed in this role

• Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
