Sales Representative Wine & Spirits

This position covers a well established customer base. Travel within the KC metro area to see customers is necessary. No overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
• Communicate sales and service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions
• Understand and comply with established guidelines that ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating the benefits of our products
• Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required
• Attending and participating in marketing events including tastings etc.
• Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, payment performance; communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed
• Research products and marketing strategies based on client needs
• Maintain knowledge of cometitor products and identify and report intelligence on pricing or marketing strategies

Knowledge and Skills

• 3-5 years of knowledge in wine and spirits industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
• Outside sales knowledge and reporting
• Valid Driver's license
• Excellent organizational, planning and problem solving skills
• Must be able to lift, push or pull 40+ pounds
• Must live in sales territory

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary + commission with monthly establishe draw (depending on level of experience). Eventually mostly commssion. Eligible for health, vision & dental insurance, IRA Match after 1 year, Paid time off

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
