Job Description
Our client, a wholesaler of home stone products based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their growing team! The Sales Representative is responsible for utilizing their expertise in the company's product portfolio to establish connections with consumers and drive sales on behalf of the organization. Their duties encompass creating compelling sales presentations for product promotion, initiating outreach to potential customers through phone calls (including cold calls) or responding to inquiries, and maintaining comprehensive records of sales-related documents such as invoices and client agreements.
Although the company's HQ is in Charlotte, NC, they are looking for someone open to a mix of working from home and traveling to customers in the greater Georgia/Alabama area. (Must be local/able to travel to respective territory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the entire range of stone products.
- Identifies potential customers, initiates lead generation, and facilitates conversions.
- Establishes communication with both new and existing customers to address their requirements.
- Highlights product features to underscore their problem-solving capabilities.
- Responds to inquiries about the products.
- Engages in price negotiations and terms discussions, as well as the preparation of sales agreements.
- Collaborates with colleagues across diverse departments.
- Manages contact lists and maintains follow-ups with customers to nurture relationships.
- Facilitates communication between Accounts Receivables and customers' Accounts Payable.
- Assumes responsibility for assisting customers in processing product payments via phone or managing refunds, if necessary.
Requirements:
- Possesses 3+ years of customer service experience.
- Demonstrates 1+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Exhibits 1+ years of proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- While not mandatory, has 3+ years of experience with natural stone slabs, which is advantageous.
- Boasts 2+ years of prior sales experience.
- Holds a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
