### Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Commission-only paid Salesperson/Outside Sales Representative to join our team servicing both commercial and residential clients. Responsibilities include generating new sales opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets in both sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outside sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a good understanding of both commercial and residential flooring needs. ### Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in both commercial and residential markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their flooring needs and providing suitable solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets set for both commercial and residential sectors.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Utilize company-provided leads and actively seek out new leads to expand the client base.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions using the CRM system.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and promote the brand.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay informed about new flooring products and technologies to better serve clients.
### Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of commercial and residential flooring products, materials, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, working collaboratively with them to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome sales obstacles.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
- Willingness to attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and represent the company.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client meetings and job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field may be preferred.
