Job Description

As a Sales Representative for service, maintenance, and reroofing projects, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by prospecting, developing, and closing sales opportunities within the commercial roofing market. Your strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and ability to build lasting customer relationships will contribute to the success and expansion of our service, maintenance, and reroofing division.

Responsibilities

  1. Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for service, maintenance, and reroofing projects within the commercial roofing market.

    • Prospect potential clients through research, networking, referrals, and cold calling.

    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities.

  2. Customer Consultation and Needs Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough consultations with potential clients to understand their roofing needs and requirements.

    • Perform roof inspections and assessments to identify areas in need of service, maintenance, or reroofing.

    • Present effective solutions and recommendations tailored to each client's specific roofing situation.

  3. Sales Presentations and Proposals:

    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing our service, maintenance, and reroofing offerings.

    • Create detailed and customized proposals, aligning them with clients' specific needs, budgets, and timelines.

    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and objections with accurate and timely responses.

  4. Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attending to their roofing-related inquiries and needs promptly and professionally.

    • Build long-term partnerships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.

  5. Sales Strategies and Targets:

    • Collaborate with the sales team and sales management to develop and implement effective sales strategies for service, maintenance, and reroofing projects.

    • Set ambitious sales targets for the division and track progress toward achieving them, adjusting strategies as needed.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to remain competitive.

  6. Networking and Industry Events:

    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote the company's service offerings.

    • Participate in relevant associations and organizations to stay connected with potential clients and industry partners.

  7. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress in the CRM system.

    • Prepare regular reports and updates for sales management, providing insights into sales performance and activities.

  8. Additional Responsibilities:

    • Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the commercial roofing industry, with a focus on service, maintenance, and reroofing projects.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business opportunities.

  • Strong knowledge of Commercial roofing products, materials, and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Team player attitude is a must.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

  • Customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales-related tools.

  • Ability to travel within the designated sales territory as needed.
