Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Representative (Inside Parts) to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue at our call center/plant located in Wallingford, Connecticut. We specialize in refurbished motors and drive units. Gear boxes experience in the area would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Process daily customer orders, phone, fax and email
- Responsible for looking up parts by model and serial number to support phone sales to fulfill customers forklift needs.
- Locate and quote parts needed for our customers with margin for resale inside business plan.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Prospect and contact potential customers (long-term)
- Reach business sales targets and deadlines based on department.
- Resolve customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in all aspects - IC, Diesels, Propane, and Electric Forklifts
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (MS Dynamics/Great Plains)
- Microsoft Systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, a plus
- Ability to communicate both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport relationship with customers.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline driven, organized and detail oriented.
- High School Diploma required.
Employment:
- Salary is based on experience.
- Company may have pre-employment screening, i.e. drug screen and background screening.
- Position is required to be in office 5 days a week Monday through Friday - 40 hours week, overtime may be approved based on business needs.
- Eligible of medical benefits and time off after 60-90 days of employment.
