1010 Premium Drinks is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain with offices in Houston, Texas. The company was founded in 2013 and has experienced explosive growth with its offerings. The company is seeking a dynamic and proactive sales rep to join its sales team as described below.
Position Summary:
1010 sales rep to service independent broad-market retailers, chain liquor stores, and restaurants. Responsibilities include working with the distributor sales team to maintain, develop, and expand current business within the assigned territory
Role Responsibilities:
BROAD MARKET ACCOUNTS
- Maintain, develop, and grow the sales of 1010 Premium Drinks in the territory
- Determine and visit new accounts for product placement on a weekly basis
- Conduct regular sales calls to accounts that the distributor calls on
- Call on all accounts on a systematic basis
- Work in the market to build strong relationships with off-premise Key Accounts.
- Keep all customers advised of current sales trends, promotions/deals/programs and special pricing.
- Put together incentive programs for retailers to grow sales
- Occasionally conduct in-store tastings
CHAIN ACCOUNTS
- Maintain, develop and grow current business with chains such as Total Wine & More, Crown Wine & Spirits, Big Daddy’s, etc
- Develop relationships and establish credibility with retail chain store liquor managers and other store personnel. Selling in line extensions, and presenting programs
- Occasionally host tastings with store manager and staff on our brands
- Work with the distributor to sell in and set up case stacks, displays, POS material and educating customers on brands.
- Work with distribution partner to ensure stores have adequate inventory, refill and re-merchandise, shelves and existing displays, of product as needed or as instructed by store manager.
- Correct any pricing issues, inventory problems and report sales opportunities.
- Occasionally conduct in-store tastings
ON-PREMISE ACCOUNTS
- Develop, maintain and grow the sales of 1010 Premium Drinks in the territory
- Determine and visit new accounts
- Conduct regular sales calls to accounts that the distributor calls on
- Work in the market to build strong relationships with on-premise Key Accounts.
- Put together incentive programs for bars/restaurants/clubs to grow sales
DISTRIBUTOR
- Occasionally ride with reps
- Present new SKUs at distributor sales meetings
- Develop solid relationships with distributor reps in the area
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a “Salesperson” with great organizational skills.
- Preferably with experience within the restaurant industry as a bartender or server.
- Professional with a positive attitude, hard worker, and the ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment.
- Ability to establish working relationships with accounts, both chain and broad market, in the territory as well as the determination to aggressively grow and expand territory.
- Self-Motivated & Goal orientated
- Possess a cell phone, dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Must be open to working occasional weekend hours.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull several cases on a regular basis.
- Must be computer literate with the ability to operate Microsoft Office.
Salary and Benefits:
- 100% Commission Based ($3,000 - $6,000 per month)

- Gas/Car/Cell allowance: $500/month
