Our company is seeking a motivated and driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in Passenger and Light Truck Tire sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our existing wholesale customers, as well as prospecting new clients. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with business owners and parts managers, offering solutions that can enhance their business operations and provide peace of mind on the road. Prior experience in the tire and automotive industry is preferred, and strong selling and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities- Maintain and grow existing customer base through regular sales calls, deliveries, and pickups.
- Handle all customer service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Open new accounts to expand business within assigned territory using cold calls, prospecting, and referrals.
- Prepare and present quotes to potential clients.
- Perform consignment inspections as required and educate customers on the appropriate tires for their specific needs.
- Manage accounts receivable, including collections and ensuring proper invoicing.
- Submit detailed weekly sales reports of all activities and calls.
- Sell tires at a profit that covers salary and expenses, contributing to the company's profitability.
- Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
