Summary
The Audio Visual Sales Representative is an experienced, detail-oriented sales professional responsible for consulting, designing, quoting, and selling high-level technical production services to profitable companies. This includes working with clients to understand their needs and developing creative solutions with the support of their production team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of audio-visual equipment and technology, as well as experience in high-level corporate and experiential event production. If you worked for an event agency or hotel venue sales that is a plus.
Qualifications
• Prospect and generate new qualified leads focusing on profitable corporations
• Consult with clients to understand their audio-visual needs for their event, including technical requirements
• Develop creative and innovative solutions to wow clients with an emphasis on meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Create and manage the audio-visual budget, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall event budget.
• Support your team, clients, external vendors, and the venues we work within
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients focusing on corporate accounts
• Develop and present proposals to clients
• Negotiate and close deals
• Provide excellent customer service
• Stay up-to-date on the latest audio-visual technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with audio, video, lighting, power, streaming, camera, staging and/or rigging systems
• Experience in corporate and experiential event production
• Experience with CAD software
• Experience in sales and client management
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Ability to negotiate and close deals
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
