The Sales Representative is responsible for new business production for prospective accounts generating under $150,000 premium within a variety of Intrepid’s targeted verticals This role requires learning and understanding of Intrepid Direct’s clients, products and services and how we differentiate ourselves from other insurance providers.
Key functions include but are not limited to:
- Meet new business goals for accounts paying under $150,000 insurance premium
- Utilize CRM system in order to effectively, improves prospect data, and follows processes
- Learn about the insurance needs of targeted verticals and brands, along with value proposition to each.
- Participate in data gathering and research in our targeted verticals
- Supports and collaborates with internal Client Success Advisor team and Underwriting on account approach to help our success
- Attends and represents Intrepid at industry and brand events
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
- Sales experience
- Motivated by driving results
- Resilient by nature; enjoys competition
- P&C insurance license, or obtain in 90 days from hire (Intrepid will support training material and cost)
- Ability to quickly learn our CRM (Salesforce) and follow documentation process
- Ability to work in self-directed, fast paces environment
- Curious by nature and interest in growing sales skills and processes
- Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel overnight, as required. Up to 10%.
