JOB TITLE: Sales/Account Rep (Full-time) Starting base pay + commission
With over 35 years of experience, Columbia Title offers comprehensive title and closing services to real estate professionals, buyers and sellers throughout Indiana. We are looking for a Sales account Manager for our locations in Frankfort, Lafayette, and the surrounding areas. We are licensed in the state of Indiana and any additional business in the state would be commissioned.
JOB SUMMARY
Our sales reps are responsible for all sales activities ranging from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. S/He develops and implements an agreed upon marketing plan to expand the customer base in the assigned area. This position also works with the rest of the sales team to achieve overall customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains relationships with existing client base pursuant to the directives of escrow officers and management
- Identifies and converts prospects to new customers
- Uses a consultative sales approach to analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements, then promotes consideration of title products to fulfill such requirements
- Prepares yearly and quarterly business plans and/or other status reports as required by management
- Develops and/or identifies new sales strategies and tools
- Presents clients with title and closing production procedures, administrative product information, and demonstrations
- Obtains and records detailed client profiles used in the delivery of client services
- Provides customer services (e.g., retrieving contracts or delivering commitments and commission checks)
- Conducts post-closing interviews to determine the quality of services delivered
- Attends sales meetings as required
- Maintains high visibility in the real estate community by representing the company at social and/or business functions and through personal involvement in service groups and business organizations
- Fosters and maintains professional and collaborative working relationships
- Determines and reports competitor activities and market conditions to manager
- Monitors and controls the cost of sales
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Adheres to company policies and guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of outside sales experience is preferred.
EDUCATION
A high school diploma is required.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, INSURANCE
o A valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
o Automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle are required.
KNOWLEDGE
Must have an understanding of insurance and real property concepts, as well as general knowledge of State Board of Insurance regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (including physical requirements)
o This position requires repetitive use of a keyboard, bending, sitting, squatting, and simple grasping.
o Some overnight travel by air and/or automobile is required.
COMPENSATION & HOURS:
Hourly wage will be commensurate with experience. Paid vacation and holidays. Closing offices are open Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Our sales reps have flexible schedules.
