RECRUITER & TRAINING SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential hires, interviewing candidates, and evaluating their qualifications and fit for our company. Your responsibilities will include sourcing candidates online, updating job posts, conducting interviews, collaborating with managers and position related training. This position serves as a member of the leadership team and will have cross functional training and responsibilities.
As a Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering employee growth and development within the company. You will be responsible for conducting and participating in various training programs, monitoring their effectiveness, and reporting on the progress of employees during their onboarding. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and enhancement of training plans. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Screens candidates using telephone screens, interviews, assessment tools, etc.
- Prepare and distribute pre-employment assignments and tests (numerical, language, and logical reasoning)
- Coordinating communication to appropriate internal departments (IT, Accounting,etc) and the hiring manager of each new hire and start date details.
- Design and update job descriptions for the company’s careers page, social media, job boards, and internally (collaborating with our internal marketing team)
- Collaborate on the design and improvement of training plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and provide reports on employee progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

- Ability to work independently in a professional manner with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google Workspace, CRM systems
