Under the supervision of the Sales and Outreach Director, the Sales and Outreach Support Specialist supports the day-to-day broker and navigator partner growth strategy by providing support to the Sales & Outreach team, and IEHP’s independent broker and navigator partners. The Sales & Outreach Support Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with IEHP’s contracted broker and navigator partners.
This position is also responsible for working in partnership with strategy support teams including internal stakeholders to complete projects and coordinate the daily functions as they relate to the department. This position will demonstrate the ability to multi-task, identify, and prioritize all related functions while maintaining an open line of daily professional communication.
This is a Bilingual (English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin) position. The Team Member in this role must take a language proficiency assessment and must receive a passing score.

Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree from an accredited institution required.
- Four (4) years of experience providing customer service support with at least two (2) years of experience specifically supporting brokers.
- Four (4) years of experience in an office environment with proficient experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal and administrative skills commensurate with years of experience.
- Possession of an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered California Life Agent and Accident and Health or Sickness license issued by the California Department of Insurance preferred.
Key Qualifications
- Must have a valid California Driver's license and valid automobile insurance. Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) points.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) - written and verbal skills required.
- Sound knowledge of general office procedures and practices, office equipment, and capable of accurately maintaining records and filing system.
- Understanding of, and sensitivity to, a multi-cultural community.
