Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Specialist provides support and guidance for the Sales team. The position plays a critical role in supporting the CEO and sales team by analyzing data, optimizing processes, and providing insights to enhance overall sales performance.
Essential Duties:
- Supports the CEO and Sales team with a variety of functions.
- Administer and maintain the company’s Customer Relationship Management system.
- Ensures data integrity within the CRM and assists in implementing best practices for data management.
- Acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information as needed.
- Coordinates with outside departments to ensure the smooth onboarding, billing, and logistics of sales.
- Analyzes sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generates regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales forecasts, and other relevant metrics.
- Pipeline analysis within CRM system and tracking of opportunities as they move through the sales process
- Reports and analyzes revenue and revenue-related metrics and provides comparison to company sales targets
- Calculates monthly and quarterly commission payouts, following detailed instructions.
- Identifies reporting trends, concerns, and successes, by using both quantitative and qualitative factors
- Develops new KPIs and uses existing ones to identify, diagnose, and resolve performance issues
- Champions and further develops best practices for measuring and optimizing marketing/sales activities through data-driven analytics
- Collaborates with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts and projections.
- Monitors and assesses the accuracy of sales forecasts, adjusting models as needed based on actual performance.
- Manages the onboarding of new sales team members by providing access to sales tools and scheduling training.
- Evaluates and streamlines sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Identifies gaps and areas for improvement in the sales workflow and proposes solutions.
- Familiar with forecasting, scorecards, and other reporting tools to help gauge leading and lagging indicators of performance
- Identifies and understands metrics across the marketing funnel and sales processes
- Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
- Evaluates new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize sales team performance
- Supports sales enablement initiatives by providing tools, resources, and training to the sales team.
- Provides insights into individual and team performance, helping identify areas for improvement recognition
- Manages technical aspects of key sales systems used to generate, distribute, report, and track leads/opportunities
- Participates in Trapp internal meetings and required trainings
- Maintains a professional image and demonstrates an understanding of and follows all Trapp Policies and Procedures.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, required or equivalent experience in Marketing and/or Sales, preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of sales, marketing, and administration experience, required
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of CRM and some level of hands on experience with CRM would be ideal
- SalesForce experience a plus.
