Job description

First Orion is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our team and be a part of a dynamic, fast growing technology company. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and working closely with Sales and Marketing, we are seeking an energetic individual with experience in optimizing sales processes and driving revenue growth. This individual will identify useful sales tools, manage the operations team and analyze data to understand how they can improve sales performance. Passionate about working with sales and marketing data to drive business performance.
What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain a robust reporting infrastructure for sales performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to provide insights and recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for sales leadership to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement data visualization tools to enhance the accessibility and understanding of sales data.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to understand and address compensation needs.
  • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive sales commission structure.
  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation of sales commissions based on established criteria.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR to address commission forecasting and commission related discrepancies.
  • Continuously review and optimize the commission structure to align with business goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline Sales Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Sales Operations processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to Sales Operations.
  • Administer and Support Salesforce
  • Create technical documentation for new processes.
  • Create reports and dashboards to align with KPI's.

  • Create workflows, custom fields, automation (Processbuilder/Flows), email alerts, new/existing users.
  • Assist with creating new and monitor integrations (install packages and configure objects)
  • Maintain User security.
  • Be able to work in the sandbox/test environment and deploy changesets into production.
  • Create and manage Opportunity and Account Teams
  • Use data loader to make mass updates.
  • Design and update list views, page layouts, custom actions, and custom buttons in lightning
  • Create and maintain approval processes.
  • Create and maintain chatter groups to promote collaboration.
  • Monitor API usage.
  • Monitor data duplication and work closely with marketing to ensure leads are syncing properly through Marketo.
  • Install, maintain, and work with various 3rd party installed packages. (Marketo, Allbound, Zoominfo, Klue, etc..)
  • Provide onboarding training of the tool.

What you'll need:
  • Minimum 4 years of Sales Ops experience
  • Experience with quota development, sales performance management, and sales incentive programs.
  • Salesforce Experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (201) (must keep current)

  • Experience with Sales Cloud
  • Experience with data loader
  • Experience with outlook/salesforce integration
  • Ability to develop relationships across different departments
  • Positive attitude
  • Problem solver

Bonus Points
  • Experience with Forecasting and Territories (A plus)
