Rochester Midland Corporation is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Sales Manager to oversee existing territory and manage local sales team in the St Louis market. This candidate will focus on developing new opportunities in the Class “A” Commercial Real Estate Market, HealthCare industry, Colleges/Universities, and light Industrial accounts. A strong working relationship with the local Service Team Manager on Full-Service customer needs is critical. Strong leadership and coaching qualities are required in order to be successful in this role.
A skilled water treatment sales professional with excellent leadership experience is required. Water Treatment or Chemical Sales Experience is a must!

Job Requirement
In this role as the Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Increasing sales for RMC’s Water Energy chemical programs within St Louis, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Kansas markets by direct selling to current and future customers.
- Developing district sales by managing, training and supporting the district sales team of 3 sales representative (1 in Wisconsin, 1 in Minnesota and 1 in Kansas. Monthly travel estimated at 5-6 days.
- Communicating to the sales team and customers a complete understanding of each of RMC’s products, pricing, applications and benefits.
- Develops positive relationships by maintaining continuing contact with key customer accounts in the territory.
- Responsible for recruiting, leading and developing team members
- Approves pricing and proposals from reporting reps on all products for customers.
- Accountable for overall territory profitability.
- Ensures individual sales reps and service techs in the district are trained for job success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate applicable experience.
- 3-5 years sales experience; Direct Water Treatment Chemical Sales is required
- 2-3 years management experience; preferably chemical sales management
