Job Description
As Pelicargo’s Air Cargo Sales Manager your will be responsible for the launch and expansion of our air cargo business in the US. Your focus will be on winning our first customers, managing operations, and building relationships with freight forwarders laying the foundation for our global expansion. As our business grows, you will eventually hire a team on the ground to support our operations.
Responsibilities
- You will support our founding team to drive our Air Cargo product at launch
- Pitch to freight forwarders and win our first customers.
- Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, airlines, and other players
- Execute daily operational load management tasks for your customers
- Ensure that our offering is competitive and work with our product team to develop our platform to meet the needs of our customers
Applicants
- Demonstratable all-round experience in air freight forwarding
- Extensive history working with airlines in the Americas region
- Analytical mindset and with passion/interest for modern technology platforms and systems
- High level of energy; willing to go the extra mile to get things done
- An obsession with customer success: you succeed when they succeed
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
Position
- Fully remote position providing full flexibility
- Travel will be required periodically to meet customers and attend events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
