Hawker Pacific Aerospace, Sun Valley, CA is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to support its fast-growing Product Line PARTS to outperform the market. Selected applicant will work with potential customers, pitching and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in order to grow the business for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services for Piece Parts, Components and Hydraulics in the region of the Americas. Furthermore, she/he will foster a strong internal network with the global Product Line within the Lufthansa Technik (LHT) Landing Gear Network and Corporate Sales. Hawker Pacific Aerospace is a subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik Group, the largest independent provider of airline maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.
This position may be assigned to one or more departments depending upon the company needs at the time.
Essential Duties
This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned task. May be assigned some or all duties indicated below depending on job progression level.
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls for Components/Piece Parts (PARTS)
- Ownership and Drive for his/her own Sales projects from initial Customer contact to Contract signature, in close alignment with stakeholders such as Corporate Sales.
- Calculate Landing Gear and Component Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) proposals in alignment with all involved stakeholders (internal & external).
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the Landing Gear Network customer base and ensure LHT's and Hawker's strong presence.
- Negotiate contracts in accordance with LHT's requirements, and adjust or revise scope of such contracts.
- Present sales, revenue and cost reports and realistic forecasts to the Senior Management team.
- Coordinate Sales effort with other departments and the Landing Gear Network. Work closely with the Product Line teams to align customer strategy and resolve customer problems to maximize satisfaction.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Monitor program accounts across all sales channels and pinpoint ways to penetrate new markets. Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics.
- Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow-up as needed.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with the customer and understanding their needs. Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of Hawker's relationships.
- Analyze sales data and recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Adhere to all the rules, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Four (4) years related experience in Landing Gear and/or Component Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Superior presentation and negotiation skills. Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail and ability to multitask tasks from multiple administrators.
