Job description:
- Drive revenue by on boarding new clients
- Build relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
- Conduct pricing, rate negotiations and manage RFP’s
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
- Maintain open communication with operations team
- Analyze clients supply chain for ways to expand service offerings
- Actively generates new sales leads converting them to revenue generating accounts
- Travel as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-5+ years in 3PL/Logistics/freight brokerage sales
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Runs to problems, not away from them. Meaning you’re looking to create awareness and work as a partner with customers and carriers to craft solutions.
- Ability to work independently - self-motivated, self-starter
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of operations preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
