Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is hiring for Sales Field Representative who can cover from Maryland / Washington DC area. At least 1 year of Sales experience to Grocery chains or Merchandising experience in grocery stores a must.
- Location to cover: Maryland States / Washington DC - Primarily work from home and serve as a central point of contact for their assigned areas
- Direct Hire with Great Benefit (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K etc)
- Salary range: $23~25/hr
- Mileage reimbursement
- Work Schedule: Mon, Thurs & Fri from 7:00am - 4:00pm, Sat & Sun from 8:00am - 5:00pm. (Tues & Wed off)
Requirements of the Sales Field Representative:
- Able to work flexible schedule as needed. Schedule will require weekends and possibly overtime, and schedule may change each week.
- 1 year of Sales experience to Grocery chains or Merchandising experience in grocery stores a must.
- Experience in the food/Beverage industry is preferred. Experience with consumer goods a plus.
- Ability to drive from site to site throughout a regular shift under the kind of driving conditions encountered in your geographic territory.
- Must have reliable transportation with Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Computer literacy, and ability to proficiently navigate the Internet, Windows, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
- Must be able to work with little supervision and have ability to be a self-starter.
- Must be a team player and take initiative.
Responsibilities of the Sales Field Representative:
- Primarily work from home and serve as a central point of contact for their assigned areas, and will play a key role in developing relationships with retailers and educating store and consumers.
- Visit various grocery stores to meet with store managers, dairy managers, and product demonstration personnel. May include several multi-day trips to other states or areas. Also will be required to travel to other areas to support stores from time to time.
- Responsible for utilizing sales tools efficiently and negotiating additional exposure in order to help build Brand Awareness in each area.
- Complete daily administrative work within your 8-hour work day.
- Perform other activities requested by Supervisor for special projects. Example: calling on/opening new businesses in other channels, Restaurants, Hospitals, Offices, Nursing Homes, Universities, Other.
- Perform timely Demo visits according to calendar.
- Evaluate demo/demonstrator’s performance and give appropriate feedback to sales department. Execute in-store demonstrations (occasionally as needed).
- Communicate with supervisors and sales team on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in sampling events as needed, along with sampling activity for Influencers in each area.
- Other related duties will be assigned.
