Sales Estimation Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are looking for a full-time Estimation Coordinator sales professional that is passionate, self-motivated, hardworking, and loves the thrill of working with customers to help them solve problems. We are interested in an individual that emphasizes relationships as a more effective way to secure long-term business relationships rather than simply making a sale. You will be working in the Greater St. Louis area while visiting our main office a couple times a week. This position is 100% commission, so the ideal candidate has a balanced approach to company, customer and goal drive.

Ideal Candidates for this position should:

• Love hunting and finding new customers that need our help
• Be able to create and execute a schedule for customer visits and follow up
• Estimate, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish
• Quality assurance on the scope of work through completion
• Support the Sales team with pricing and bids as needed
• Directly work with the team to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget and with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications
• Ability to track cost and progress
• Produce and track change orders
• Participate in goal planning

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of both outside and inside sales experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge in General Trades (i.e., carpentry, doors, frames, hardware & millwork installation)
• Competence in reading building plans/shop drawings and basic specifications
• Excellent math skills and measurements
• Ability to achieve sales targets
• Project management skills is a plus planning, organization and problem-solving skills
• Advanced time management skills, relationship, communication, and negotiation
• Strong understanding of construction and construction management process from start to finish.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills a must (i.e.- Microsoft, Procore, Bluebeam, accounting software and Estimating software)
• Ability to work well with others and with a team.
• Drug testing required upon acceptance of employment.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Compensation & Benefits:

This position is a W2 full-time commission position, starting with a base-draw salary and then stepping into full commission over time. We expect that the first-year compensation would exceed $100K. We also offer exceptional benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid days off and holidays. Drug testing required upon acceptance of employment.
