Salary:

TeleTeachers is seeking an impact-driven, entrepreneurially-minded Sales Director of School Partnerships to grow revenue while ensuring equity in access to high quality education and teletherapy for all.

We help schools and organizations meet the rising demand for special education providers and mental health clinicians by delivering remote staffing solutions and the technology infrastructure for providing online learning and telehealth at scale.


TeleTeachers is a venture-backed, high-growth tech startup. We were founded in 2019 delivering online speech-language pathology services online to schools and quickly expanded to offering all special education services a school district would need to guarantee students with IEPs receive the federally-mandated instruction and therapy entitled to them.

The Role:

The job of The Sales Director of School Partnerships is done for the purpose/s of developing new school partnerships, while maintaining current relationships with existing school partners, to increase the number of districts/schools we serve and bring in revenue through closing deals.


Scope & Dimension:
In addition, the Sales Director of School Partnerships is responsible for shaping technical conversations with school/district leaders, navigating value propositions for each stakeholder, and nurturing authentic relationships with school district partners with a flexible mindset.

Make sure you have and are able to:


● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● At least 5 years of experience in consultative educational sales
● General experience in K-12 education/special education and EdTech sales
● Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
● Build and maintain client relationships
● Be self-confident and self motivated
● Strong customer service skills
● Meet and/or exceed sales goals; revenue based as well as activity based
● Closing skills
● Territory management including; prospecting, negotiation, product and presentation skills.


Competencies:


● Experienced in leading and managing a full sales lifecycle, to include, lead generation, sourcing, sales strategy development, proposal/contract development, deal closure, and post-submission follow up.
● You’re a stellar communicator, and can successfully build relationships internally and externally
● An essential component of this role will be representing TeleTeachers’ K-12 educational and technology solutions in ways that connect and resonate with an audience that thinks in terms of educational pedagogy. To make this happen, you’ll have to be able to effectively speak this language to navigate the development of school partnerships and closing deals
● Has the desire to teach and support others and the ability to adjust teaching style to the learning needs of the new and current team members to facilitate successful training and mentoring.
● Accuracy: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
● Communication: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
● Computer Skills: Proficient ability to use the computer for Google Drive, Zoom, HubSpot, and TeleTeachers Platform
● Confidentiality: Maintain student, team member, and employer confidentiality. Be knowledgeable and comply with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
● Customer service-oriented: Friendly, cheerful, and helpful to students, families, staff members, and providers
● Flexibility: Ability to adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilities

Work Environment:


● Remote (with potential need to travel to conferences and school sites when safe to do so)
● Professional workspace
● You will need Internet access and a device for video conferencing


Physical Demands:


● Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and phone
● Frequent sitting and standing
● The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions may require the following physical demands when traveling to conferences or district/school offices for onsite meetings with school partners: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 70% sitting, 25% walking, and 5% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
